About Robin Baron
Robin Baron, celebrity interior designer and lifestyle expert, brings a striking sense of style to everything she does. With an enthusiastic personality and expertise in all things décor and lifestyle, Robin thrives on creating homes that are eclectic, unique and fabulous, while maintaining a warm and inviting atmosphere. Reflecting her motto that “Confidence Begins at Home™”, she prides herself on her ability to capture her clients’ individual personalities in their homes.
Robin’s career took off when she transformed her fashion business into a career in interiors and launched her full-service design firm, Robin Baron Design Inc. The Robin Baron Design team takes projects from pre-construction through the decorating details and finishing touches. Over the years Robin’s clientele has grown to include many celebrities including film & TV stars, as well as heads of major corporations such as the Chairman of Reuters and the CEO of DirecTV. Robin feels that the best design work comes from the collaboration of her creative vision with the needs and lifestyles of her clients.
Robin has significant experience on TV, video and radio including HGTV, Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing New York, and NBC’s Open House. She also has been featured in many print and online publications including House Beautiful, Elle Décor, Traditional Home, The Wall Street Journal, New York Magazine, Newsday, New York Cottages & Gardens, Connecticut Cottages & Gardens, & Redbook Magazine among many others.
Robin tours the country as a spokesperson, speaking to audiences at events such as High Point Furniture Market, NY Now, Dallas Market Center, NeoCon, the D&D Building, New York Design Center, NY School of Interior Design (NYSID), the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), and brand events such as Zoffany and Benjamin Moore, to name a few. Robin also enjoys providing lifestyle and design tips through her award-winning blog “Simplifying Fabulous!™” and her multi-platform social media presence.
Robin is very active in the national design community. She is the past President of ASID, New York Metro Chapter and on the Board of several charitable organizations. Giving back is important to Robin. She has been involved in Showhouses and charitable events such as Ronald McDonald House Project Design, Housing Works’ Design on a Dime, Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, DIFFA, American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, and is the founder of an independent living program for high-functioning young adults on the autistic spectrum.
Robin is inspired by everything around her and always says, “You never know where you’re going to find inspiration so always have an open eye and an open mind.” Her positive energy follows her wherever she goes!
